Sunrise Lodge is in the central beach area of Dahab (Masbat Bay) and a few seconds from the main boardwalk which is lined with beachside cafes, stores and dive shops.
My 5 day stay turned to 9 days – the town had a great laid-back vibe and I felt at home at this lodge. It wasn’t a surprise that this lodge ended up being so welcoming because:
- It was recommended to me by another charming guesthouse, Sinai Old Spices B&B where I stayed when I was in Sharm el Sheikh
- They have a gorgeous website at sunrisedahab.com
- They have excellent nothing but reviews on TripAdvisor
The owner, Claire, was friendly and helpful with recommending things to do around Dahab. I had a great experience diving with one of the centres she recommended (H2O Divers Dahab) and with an overnight excursion to a Beduouin beach camp north of Dahab.
If I come back to Dahab again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
